To buy Enjin Coin (ENJ) in Canada, open an account on a CSA-registered exchange that lists it, verify your ID, add Canadian dollars and place a buy order. Kraken (9.2) and Crypto.com carry ENJ and are registered with the Canadian Securities Administrators.
BTCC, MEXC, Bitunix also list it but are offshore, so read the labels in the table first.
- Kraken, 9.2: beginners who want to learn, then cheaper trading on kraken pro
- Crypto.com: a broad app with a crypto card

Part of my guide to how to buy crypto in Canada.
What Is Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
Enjin Coin (ENJ) isn’t just another cryptocurrency, it’s the backbone of a gaming and NFT platform, letting you own and trade digital assets like never before. Canadians might be drawn to its gaming perks and staking rewards, whether you’re in Vancouver or the Prairies. But a quick heads-up: crypto investments are risky, so always weigh the ups and downs before jumping in!
I am not quoting a live ENJ price here, since it would be out of date within hours. Check the order screen of your platform for the current CAD price, and compare it with the final quote that includes the platform's fee or spread.
Where Can You Buy Enjin Coin (ENJ) In Canada?
These are the platforms on my scorecard whose asset lists include ENJ, in my fixed order. I checked each against the exchange's own listing data in October 2026. Platforms that do not appear here did not show ENJ on their asset list, and I only recommend exchanges that do.
| Exchange | Canadian Status | Published Fee | CAD Funding | My Rank | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kraken | CSA-registered (Restricted Dealer) | Kraken Pro 0.40% maker / 0.80% taker; Instant Buy 1% | Free Interac e-Transfer deposits | #3 | Buy ENJ |
| BTCC | Offshore, not CSA-registered | 0.2% maker / 0.3% taker | Not verified | #8 | Buy ENJ |
| MEXC | Offshore, terms prohibit Canada | 0% maker / 0.05% taker | No CAD funding verified | #9 | Buy ENJ |
| Bitunix | Offshore, terms prohibit Canada | See Bitunix fee page | No CAD funding | Not ranked | Buy ENJ |
| Crypto.com | CSA-registered (Restricted Dealer) | Not published for Canada | Not verified | Not ranked | Buy ENJ |
Coinbase and Crypto.com publish one global coin list, not a Canadian one. Check the coin in their Canadian app before you fund an account.
Which Registered Exchanges Carry Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
Kraken For Enjin Coin (ENJ)
9.2/10CSA-registered Kraken is a CSA Restricted Dealer and ranks third at 9.2. Interac e-Transfer deposits are free. On Kraken Pro the entry tier is 0.40% maker and 0.80% taker, so a $500 taker buy costs $4.00 and a maker order costs $2.00. Instant Buy is 1%, or $5.00 plus spread. An Interac withdrawal costs CAD 10.
Crypto.com For Enjin Coin (ENJ)
CSA-registered Crypto.com is a CSA Restricted Dealer through its Canadian entity and I have not scored it. Bank transfer and card deposits are zero-fee, but the Canadian fee schedule is not published, so I cannot give you a cost on a $500 buy. Check the quote in the app before you confirm.
What About The Offshore Exchanges?
Offshore BTCC, MEXC, Bitunix list ENJ but are not registered with the Canadian Securities Administrators, and their terms of service restrict some or all Canadian residents (BTCC lists Ontario and Quebec). No Canadian investor protection applies. I could not verify Canadian dollar funding on any of them, so you would need to bring crypto from somewhere else. They suit experienced traders who accept that risk; beginners should stay on a registered platform.
How Do You Buy Enjin Coin (ENJ) In Canada Step By Step?
These steps use Kraken, the first CSA-registered exchange in the table.
- Sign up at Kraken. Use the link in the table, then upload a government-issued ID and a selfie, and sometimes proof of address. Verification can take up to 24 hours.
- Deposit Canadian dollars. On Kraken, Interac e-Transfer deposits are free. A bank deposit usually avoids the extra cost of a card.
- Search for ENJ. Open the trade or buy screen and look for ENJ. Check the ticker carefully, because tokens with similar names exist.
- Place the order. Use a market order for speed or a limit order if you want to name your price. Read the fee preview before you confirm.
- Move long-term holdings to your own wallet. Try a small test transfer first. My best crypto wallets for Canadians list covers the options.
Cards are the quickest way to fund, but they usually cost more than a bank deposit, and Canadian banks sometimes block them.
What Is Enjin Coin (ENJ) Used For?
Enjin's own blog describes ENJ as an ERC-20 token created in 2017 that laid the foundation for what it calls the first NFT gaming ecosystem. ENJ is now also the native token of Enjin Blockchain, which combines the earlier Enjin and Efinity communities under one token. Its documented uses include staking to take part in Enjin Blockchain's nomination pools, expanded features for non-fungible tokens and NFT transfers, and a feature called ENJ Infusion.
ENJ Infusion lets users lock ENJ into tokens they create, whether NFTs or multi-unit tokens. This embeds ENJ into the digital asset so that it carries a backing amount inside it.
How Does Enjin Coin (ENJ) Work?
Enjin Blockchain is initially made up of the Enjin Relaychain and the Enjin Matrixchain. The Efinity parachain, which was the sixth parachain on Polkadot, migrated to Enjin Blockchain and became the Matrixchain. The chain contains a claims pallet that lets holders migrate ERC-20 ENJ to native ENJ at a ratio of 1:1, and ERC-20 EFI at 4 EFI to 1 ENJ. EFI on the Efinity parachain was migrated automatically and needed no action.
Enjin Blockchain is built on Substrate, and Enjin says that any wallet software that supports Substrate can integrate it. This is why you will see two forms of ENJ: the older ERC-20 token on Ethereum and native ENJ on Enjin Blockchain.
What Are The Risks Of Holding Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
- Two versions of the token: ERC-20 ENJ and native ENJ are different. Sending one to an address that only supports the other can lose funds, so read your exchange's network labels.
- Migration steps: if you hold ERC-20 ENJ, moving to native ENJ requires a migration using the official process, and Enjin publishes guides for it, including one for non-Enjin wallets.
- Supply schedule: Enjin has published token supply and unlock updates, so check them if supply matters to you.
- Market risk: there is no promise of returns.
Which Wallets Support Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
Enjin Wallet supports 14 chains including mainnets such as Enjin Relaychain, Enjin Matrixchain, Ethereum, Polygon and Polkadot. Enjin Blockchain is also supported on Ledger devices, and Enjin's support site says you can send ENJ from a Ledger hardware wallet. SubWallet and Talisman have also announced integration with Enjin Blockchain, with Talisman supporting the MultiToken standard and in-app staking and governance. Check Enjin's support page on supported tokens and chains for the current list.
How Do You Move Enjin Coin (ENJ) From An Exchange To A Wallet?
- Decide which version of ENJ you want to hold, and pick a wallet that supports it.
- Copy your receiving address for the chosen network. An ERC-20 ENJ address and a native Enjin Blockchain address are not interchangeable.
- On the exchange, choose the same network in the withdrawal form. If the exchange lists only one option, that decides the version you will receive.
- Send a small test amount first.
- If you receive ERC-20 ENJ and want native ENJ, follow Enjin's official migration guide, not a third-party site.
What Should You Check Before Buying Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
- The ticker and network. Many tokens share names or tickers with copies, and the same coin can exist on more than one network. Confirm both before you pay.
- The listing itself. Open the asset page on the exchange and confirm that ENJ is tradable against Canadian dollars, or that you will need to buy another coin first and swap.
- The all-in price. Compare the quote on the order screen with the exchange's fee schedule. A spread is part of the cost, even when the fee line says zero.
- Withdrawal rules. Some platforms set minimums, fees or hold periods on withdrawals to your own wallet, so read them before you deposit a large amount.
- Your records. Save the date, amount and CAD value of every purchase. You will need them at tax time.
How Do You Store Enjin Coin (ENJ)?
For short-term trading, leaving ENJ on a registered exchange is fine. For long-term holding, move it to a secure crypto wallet. Exchanges can get hacked, and I have seen it go south. A hardware wallet like Ledger, or a software wallet that supports ENJ, keeps it safer. Check the wallet's asset list and network before you send anything, and stash that seed phrase somewhere secure (not your phone!).
How Do You Sell Enjin Coin (ENJ) In Canada?
To sell, go to the exchange where you hold it. If your coins are in a wallet, send them back to the exchange first, then place a sell order. You can swap ENJ for another cryptocurrency or sell it for Canadian dollars if the platform offers that, then withdraw to your bank account. Withdrawal fees differ by platform (Kraken charges CAD 10 for an Interac withdrawal). My guide on how to sell or cash out crypto in Canada has the full steps.
Is Enjin Coin (ENJ) A Good Investment For Canadians?
ENJ’s gaming and NFT potential is cool, but crypto’s volatile, only risk what you’re okay losing. Nobody can tell you where the price goes next, and I do not make predictions. If you buy, size the position so a drop does not hurt, and remember that smaller tokens can be thin to trade, which widens the spread when you sell.
Do You Pay Tax When You Buy Enjin Coin (ENJ) In Canada?
Buying ENJ with Canadian dollars is not itself a taxable event. Selling it, swapping it for another coin or spending it can be. The CRA says that, depending on your activities, you may realize business income (or loss) or a capital gain (or loss), and the two are reported differently. Record the date and CAD value of every buy, sale and swap. See my crypto taxation guide and how to report your crypto taxes.
What Changed For Buying Enjin Coin (ENJ) In Canada In October 2026?
- Kraken republished its fee schedule, with Pro spot starting at 0.40% maker and 0.80% taker.
- MEXC updated its user agreement and now names Canada as a prohibited jurisdiction.
- The CSA issued a Restricted Dealer decision for Foris DAX CAN ULC, the Canadian entity behind Crypto.com.
